Why Engineering Core sectors ECE, EEE and Mech get fewer admissions in Bangalore Colleges?

 In Bangalore, the core sectors have failed because they didn't catch the tumbling point of the dot com era. This was the X extension of the file formats in Microsoft office suites. When microsoft added XML in 2010, for the compatibility to Office applications, the world moved ahead of the dot com era. All it's formats on save changed from .doc to .docx, .xls to .xlsx and so on. This is where Bangalore Engineering colleges were left clueless, the impact this had on their enrollment numbers. Carefully the developped countries changed their classroom models to online models, but Bangalore thought that time that Internet is for fascination and mobile phones need a ban due to misuse and copying in exams. Then in 2015, everything changed.  Nobody is getting job offers in ECE, EEE, Mech, Telecom, Civil and Aerospace Engg. Only CSE and IS scored to sore to heights. The reason I feel is everything that's got to do with automation. With numerous college projects done by lakhs of students not 1% were internally used on daily basis in these colleges. They did final year projects outside and got certificates to show in colleges. Otherwise, they took training and submitted somebody else's project for display on exam date. In few rare cases, college student did in-campus experiments and among that also very rarely they build consistent systems. I put fault in not automating their labs and drudgery of 3-hours of labs every alternate day for students were'nt simplified using embedded systems. Look at this Gemini AI query and result on how to accomplish all this using microsoft excel:

I was about ask if commands and controls in Excel speadsheets be written in VBA for buttons that give instructions to any hardware system connected to the same computer?

VB.Net
Sub SendCommand()
    ' Replace "COM1" with the correct port name
    Dim serialPort As Object
    Set serialPort = CreateObject("WScript.Shell")

    serialPort.Run "cmd /C mode COM1: baud=9600 parity=n data=8 stop=1"
    serialPort.SendKeys "YourCommand" ' Replace "YourCommand" with the actual command
End Sub
